Description:
The Bossy R pirates are back! Bossy R Trail 2 tackles the trickiest r-controlled vowels: er, ir, and ur, three spellings for one sound. Students race along the trail and complete a challenge on every space they land on.
What's included:
A full-color game board with 14 er, ir, and ur words (her, fern, shirt, turn, nurse, girl, purple, germ, first, burger, curl, perfect, dirt, surf)
8 challenge cards
A blank game board, so students can build their own trail with Bossy R words
Blank challenge cards for creating your own challenges
How to play: Players roll a die and move along the trail. On each word space, they read the word and draw a challenge card. Roll Again, Move Ahead Two, and Move Back Two spaces add a fun twist. The first player to reach the finish wins!
